Business tip: "Party
time matters"
As your business grows, thought needs to be given to staff
recreation and relationships beyond the workplace. If staff
see each other as a part of the workplace only, and in their
respective work roles, then work is less a part of real
life, and more something to be endured. Savour your lunch
breaks, plan your staff activities - and occasionally plan
recreational/training activities for normal working hours.
That way you can get to know your employees as confident
decision-making individuals, and they can see you as a decision-free
party animal!
