About Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire is situated at the most south westerly point of Wales and is a peninsula with ocean on three sides. It is an area of exceptional natural beauty in the UK.

Pembrokeshire's coastal scenery means it is a popular area of Wales. Attractive to wlakers, the 180 mile long Pembrokeshire National Park Coastal Path. crosses a wide variety of terrains-from fantasic cliff scenery to open countryside, to sandy bay....

Amongst the historical places of interest are castle ruins and ancient burial sites, lying amongts small villages and seaside towns. The bays have a history of piracy and smuggling.

Places of interest are as follows:

The Preseli Hills section of the National Park, dotted with isolated farms has outstanding views across the sea. The offshore island of Skomer, a national nature reserve, and bird-watcher's paradise. Saundersfoot Harbour, near Tenby a busy seaside resort with large sandy beaches with medieval walls and monuments. Caldey Island, home to monks for over a thousand years. Carew Castle, at Milford Haven was the site of the last medieval tournament in Wales. Carew Cross stands in memory of Maredydd, an 11th century ruler of the Kingdom of Deheubarth in southwest Wales. The 13 ft high cross is considered one of the three finest in Wales. The 17th century Carew tidal mill, the only intact one in Wales, is one of only four in Britain. The mill ceased operation in 1937. The busy town of Pembroke boasts a large castle, medieval town walls, and the Museum of the Home, a privately run museum across from the castle. The lively hillside town of St. David's is famous for its ruined Bishop's Palace, with ornate arcaded parapet, and St. David's Cathedral, considered Wales finest church. At Fishguard Harbour in 1797 a small group of French convicts landed nearby, proposing to conquer England! Strumble Head's lighthouse that offers fantastic views over the water.

Buzzpages says : This page is about discos , DJs , discotheques and mobile disco or disco hire availability in Pembrokeshire. Pembrokeshire is situated at the most south westerly point of Wales and is a peninsula with ocean on three sides.

The word " disco ", arguably Spanish, has been used for around 40 years to describe a type of music, and for slightly less, the term disco has also been used to depict the dance floor where disco and other modern popular music is played. Nowadays a good disco combines the skill of the DJ in selecting tracks, with a well balance and powerful sound quality and light display.
