Childrens' Poetry CD in aid of the RSPCA - A Heartwarming Gift for every Season.

These CDs were produced in 2004 from the readings of the children of the tiny village school of Ysgol Meifod in Powys - 14 of the school's 56 pupils were involved, some as young as 4 when the recordings were made, and the average age around six. The CDs contain around 50 poems, some traditional, some anonymous, some old enough to be out of copyright, including a large selection by Robert Louis Stevenson and some by Lewis Carroll. We are privileged also to have some original poems written by Barbara Joseph included in the collection. Between the sections there is also some original music written especially for children on the CD by Jane and Philip Lane.

CDs are available from Beehouse Recording Studios at a cost of £6 each including postage within the UK- £1 to cover the actual cost of manufacturing the CD, £3 to go to the RSPCA as was the original wish of the children when we started the project, and £1 to go to Ysgol Meifod school funds. "Poems from Meifod" make an excellent Christmas presents as well as being a great relaxing listen which with a lot of genuine amusement!
