Llanfyllin Stud, specialising in Welsh cobs, is set in a gorgeous location on the Wales Shropshire borders in Powys .The stud is approximately 12 miles from the historic market town of Oswestry, Shropshire, 10 miles from Welshpool, 3 miles from Llanfyllin and five miles from Llanfihangel-yng-Ngwynfa. |

| * The Stud started breeding Section D Welsh cobs in 1980 and many of the foals we have bred here have gone on to do extremely well in the show ring, in hand and as performance horses both here and abroad. Mares at Llanfyllin Studs are all over 14.2 hands and have plenty of substance and bone and carry the excellent bloodlines of Llanarth, Mathrafal and Brenin Gwalia. | |
