Bed & Breakfast
Accommodation Details

Middle Sylfaen is an extremely attractive black and white 'Severn Valley' timbered three-star farmhouse, with the date 1577 carved over the entrance door. It is set in outstanding countryside in the heart of Mid Wales, in the county of Montgomeryshire, three miles from Welshpool. Montgomeryshire is an outstanding county and is known as Wales' secret heartland. There are outstanding views over the valley and the distant narrow-gauge Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway can be seen from the farmhouse.

There is a lawned area to the front of the house which is bordered by shrubbed and flowered beds and there is a tarmac drive and parking area within the garden. We also have a patio area with table and chairs which guests can use at their convenience. Guests can relax in the visitors' lounge/dining room which is a spacious and heavily beamed room with an inglenook fireplace,  a comfortable settee, a TV and other up-to-the- minute comforts. There is also a traditional Welsh Oak Dresser and an oak dining table and chairs which are in keeping with the oak beams.

Children will enjoy the slide and swings in the orchard nearby.

Sarah and Richard Wilde and family welcome you to their home and wish to make your stay at Middle Sylfaen as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
